Been Busy with New Kitten and Squidoo

There he is, sleeping.
We got a new kitten which is a blessing. He adds a great energy.
I felt like normal again, when I sat on the couch and pretty soon the pets were sleeping on and around me.
See we had lost 3 senior pets in a year’s time. We got a puppy, but I’m not much for small dogs, he is Jim’s. I still wanted a cat. Well one happened along as usual when required.
The kitten and the dog are so cool together. There’s more on the kitten here with more photos.
Mean while I have decided to give Squidoo more attention. People make good money there, but I can’t learn it by not taking it seriously. I came across a lens for a group that has a contest with other groups to help people get to what they call “Giant Squidoo” a badge of privilages for those with 50 or more nice lenses. So I signed up with them, they will help and encourage me. I have till Sept. 30th to get about 40 more done. I can’t take that time lightly because a lens can take time to make. I personally make them a bit long.
As a part of their entrance examination, I had to do a lens on myself. So I worked in a tour of my home with the events of introducing a new kitten into the clan.
I also will be working for Bernie again in teh middle of the month. I will have to write out stuff while I am there and load it up to a lens when I get back.

I am soon going to get a blog up about the cats here. It’s going to get interesting!
Yesterday an orange cat pops up on the deck. I couldn’t believe my eyes. His lower jaw was missing and the right side of his head had a big black sore with most of his ear gone. As he tried to eat there were flies going around his head. A cat zombie! I haven’t seen him since. We can’t catch but if we could trap him, we wonder if it would be a good idea to take him in? Poor thing.
Over a month ago the boss tom cat took off, so now other cats are coming around. I wondered if they all ran him off. The cats can go under the house, but I don’t want to block it off because if I do that the rats will quickly take over. I really don’t want to know what all is down there. I have seen 6 different cats run under there and raccoons.
About a month ago a fluffy cat was staring right at me thru the window with that look of “I need more food and wont take no for an answer!” Just like a female squirrel used to do that had babies. I had a feeling then….
About 4 this morning I could hear thumping below. Yup! Sounds like kittens wrestling, I’ve heard that before. This morning I sit down at the computer and the fluffy cat is right there at the window looking right at me again. You could almost hear the Geico, eyes music.
So now we are preparing to catch some wild kittens again. Gloves, nets, carriers and large boxes for a pen.
